Yunita Kibor, the 4th spouse of prominent Uasin Gishu farmer Jackson Kibor, has eulogised the late president that is former Moi being a strict time-keeper and a frontrunner whom spent greatly into the training of Kenyan kids during their 24-year reign.
Talking at her Eldoret house in Uasin Gishu County on Wednesday, February 5, Yunita, 39, stated the loss of Moi has “saddened me personally because we liked him being a leader”.
“We are saddened by Mzee Moi’s death because we adored him. Once I ended up being a young child, I benefited from Moi’s free milk programme. There have been times he’d look at the main school we had been their studies at, so we would sing for him. I happened to be on the list of students whom entertained the then-Head of State, ” Yunita told Citizen Television’s mid-day programme, Sema na Citizen.
“Mzee Moi had been a strict time-keeper. As he said he will be someplace at 10am, he would make certain that by 10am, he had been during the place, ” added Yunita.
“I thank Mzee Moi for buying children’s training. Most of the schools that are good parents are scrambling for today, had been built during Moi’s era. ”
